Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how NexLive (“App”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) collects, uses, and protects information from users (“You”, “Your”, or “User”) through our application and services. We are committed to transparency in our data practices and ensuring the security of your personal information.
By accessing or using NexLive, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the practices described in this policy. NexLive is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the App, and all information gathered is processed solely for the purposes of our business operations.
Legal & Global Compliance
This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with major international and local regulations to ensure a safe experience globally. This includes the Digital Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU & UK), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA – USA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We also adhere to the Google Play Developer Program Policies to maintain the highest standards of app safety.
For our users in India, this policy serves as a formal notice under Section 5 of the DPDP Act regarding the collection and purpose of processing your personal data, as well as instructions on how to exercise your legal rights or file a complaint.
Information We Collect and Why (General Users)
When you register for a standard NexLive account, we collect basic identifiers to provide you with a functional and personalized experience. This includes your Name for account identification, a Profile Image for your public persona, and your Date of Birth, which we use strictly to verify that you meet our mandatory 18+ age requirement.
We also collect your Phone Number and Email Address to facilitate account security, password recovery, and to send critical updates. To make your experience better, we observe your Language & Interests, which helps us show you content in our “Shorts” and “Trending” feeds that matches your preferences.
Information We Collect for Creators & Listeners
If you choose to use our earning features as a Creator or Listener, we require additional verification data for legal and financial compliance. In addition to your extended profile (Gender, Languages), we collect KYC Documents. For users in India, this includes your Full Name, UPI ID, and PAN Card. For global users, we collect your Full Name, PayPal ID, and a Passport or National ID Card.
The purpose of collecting these documents is strictly for identity verification, tax compliance, and to ensure that payouts are processed accurately and securely to the correct individual. We do NOT access your personal contact lists or phone book at any time.
Automatically Collected Information
To maintain app stability and security, our system automatically gathers technical data when you use NexLive. This includes Device Identifiers (IP Address, Device ID), Usage Patterns (features used, session duration), and Diagnostics (crash logs via Firebase). For Creators and Listeners, we also track your Online Presence in real-time.
We collect this technical information to detect and prevent fraudulent login attempts, troubleshoot software errors, and facilitate real-time connections between users. Your approximate location, derived from your IP address, is used to comply with regional regulations and provide localized content.
Device Permissions
To function correctly, the NexLive App requires specific permissions on your mobile device. We request access to your Camera and Microphone for video and audio calls, Bluetooth for connecting headsets, and Storage for saving content or uploading profile images. We also use Notifications to alert you about incoming calls and earned rewards. These permissions are only used when you are actively using the corresponding features.
Wallet, Diamonds, and Refund Policy
NexLive uses a virtual currency called Diamonds for premium features, gifting, and security deposits. All in-app purchases of Diamonds are processed securely via Google Play Billing. Please note that all such purchases are final and non-refundable. Subscriptions (e.g., 150 Diamonds for 1 week) are one-time deductions and do not auto-renew.
Payout Policy
NexLive provides opportunities for Creators and Listeners to earn rewards. To ensure security and compliance, the following Payout Policy applies:
KYC Requirement: No payouts will be processed until the user has successfully completed our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. This involves submitting valid identity documents (PAN Card for India, Passport/National ID for global users) and a full legal name.
Payment Methods: Payouts are currently processed via UPI for users in India and PayPal for global users. Users are responsible for providing correct payment identifiers (UPI ID or PayPal ID). NexLive is not responsible for funds lost due to incorrect information provided by the user.
Forfeiture of Earnings: Any pending earnings, rewards, or the 1,000 Diamond security deposit may be forfeited if a user is found to be in violation of our community standards or terms of service. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging in prohibited content (nudity, harassment, CSAM) or attempting to defraud the platform.
Security Deposit: A 1,000 Diamond security deposit is required to access earning features. This deposit serves as a commitment to our safety standards and is recorded in our internal logs. This deposit may be forfeited as a penalty for policy violations.
Children’s Safety
NexLive is strictly intended for an adult audience (18 years of age or older). We have a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of the platform by minors. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with any personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the account. If you believe a minor is using our service, please contact us at support@nexlive.in.
Third-Party Services
We partner with several specialized service providers to enhance our App. This includes Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network for ads, Firebase (by Google) for analytics and backend infrastructure, Agora RTC for real-time video communication, and Cloudflare for security and performance optimization. Each of these partners operates under their own privacy policies regarding the data they process for us.
User-Generated Content and Moderation
NexLive allows users to create, upload, and share content, including videos, images, text posts, comments, and live streams (“User-Generated Content” or “UGC”). To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, we implement the following moderation and content standards:
Allowed Content: We encourage positive and creative interactions. This includes personal vlogs, talent showcases, friendly live sessions, educational content, and community-building text posts that comply with our safety standards.
Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance): We strictly prohibit content that involves Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), nudity, pornography, extreme violence, terrorism, hate speech, harassment, or the promotion of illegal activities. NexLive maintains a zero-tolerance policy; any user posting prohibited content will face an immediate permanent ban and, where necessary, reporting to legal authorities such as NCMEC.
Manual Review Process: To ensure the highest quality of safety, NexLive currently relies on a Manual Review System. All user-uploaded content (Shorts, images, and posts) is reviewed by our dedicated moderation team before or after publication. While we are continuously improving our platform, please note that we do not currently employ automated detection or filtering systems for content moderation. Every moderation action is the result of human review based on our community standards.

NexLive retains your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this policy, or to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements.
- Account Data: Your account information and associated profile data are retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days of the request.

- Backup Data: Residual copies of your data may remain in our encrypted backup systems for an additional period (up to 60 days) before being overwritten.
